Streaming giant Disney+Hotstar has announced their first ever Malayalam web series. With the advent of OTT, Malayalam content is the most sought after thing on the web. They have got a massive and widespread fanbase across the country, thanks to the platforms that bring that.
Very recently, SonyLIV announced their first ever Malayalam series called Jai Mahendran. Now, it is the time for Disney+Hotstar.
The platform has not revealed many details from the show, not even the release date. But, they have announced the cast and crew along with the first look.
So the series is called Kerala Crime Files: Shiju, Parayil Veedu, Neendakara.
The series will be directed by Ahammed Khabeer. Good for us, it will be available not only in Malayalam but also Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi and Bengali.
So a wide availablity of 7 languages is a smart move that would benefit Hotstar a lot.
