Disney Plus Hotstar launched a new, riveting promotional video for its upcoming show, ‘Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo’, introducing the characters of the show. The crime drama series premieres on Disney Plus Hotstar on 5th May, 2023.
The new teaser for ‘Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo’ introduces the viewer to the myriad interesting characters that make up the story. The series is about a bunch of feisty women who run a drug cartel from their backyard, even as the men of their family live and work out of town. The new ‘Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo’ teaser introduces us to these feisty females, as narrated by their husbands.
The two husbands, played by Ashish Varma and Varun Mitra, are returning to their home town, and discussing their supposedly meek wives, sister and mother along the way. Unbeknownst to them, all four females are firecrackers!
There’s Bijlee (Isha Talwar), who’s the older Bahu, and as thunderous as lightning. Kajal (Angira Dhar) might be petite, but she’s certainly not a pushover. Daughter of the house Shanta (Radhika Madan) is a badass, and topping them all is mother Rani Devi (Dimple Kapadia), who’s not about to hang up her boots yet.
The character intro presents all four females in kickass avatars, killing, shooting and stabbing with flourish. The poor male members don’t have a clue. Going by all the promos and teasers of ‘Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo’ released until now, the series promises to be a thrilling watch.
‘Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo’ is headlined by Dimple Kapadia, who’s making her OTT debut with the series. Besides Dimple Kapadia, the series stars Naseeruddin Shah, Radhika Madan, Angira Dhar, Isha Talwar, Monica Dogra, Ashish Verma, Varun Mitra, Udit Arora, Deepak Dobriyal, Vipin Sharma and Jimit Trivedi, among others. ‘Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo’ is created and directed by Homi Adjania, and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
