‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ is one of the finest movies to come out of the Malayalam film industry this year and has got some nice reviews from critics and audiences. Very soon the movie is coming out on OTT and there are chances that it will be a big hit in the Hindi-speaking areas as well.
‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ will be released on Disney+Hotstar on the 1st day of November. It came out in theaters in September this year and was a decent local hit. But it did not have much engagement in North India. It has happened multiple times that a regional movie has not worked out well theatrically but when it comes out on OTT and is discovered by people it becomes a huge hit. And it is a common phenomena with Malayalam movies. Because they don’t have a huge footfall in North India.
Kishkindha Kaandam is the story of a village that suddenly is being disturbed by a lot of monkeys. The forest officials and the villagers try to find out what is causing this disturbance. There is a huge number of people who have not even heard about the movie and once it comes out, there are chances of word-of-mouth spreading for it. Also there are people who could not manage to go to theaters and are waiting for the OTT version now. Disney+Hotstar has always been great with promotions and the movie will surely reach the audiences it is meant for.
