Aamir Khan is all set for his upcoming movie now. It is titled ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ and is going to be a sports drama. The movie does not only follow the title-style of the popular ‘Taare Zameen Par’ but also follows a similar theme.
‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ too will be a film on people with different abilities. But it will differ in the emotional tone with the 2007 Aamir Khan directorial. As ‘Taare Zameen Par’ had an intense and sad tone, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ will have a humorous one. It will be an out and out comedy movie but with enough sympathy towards people with different abilities.
Aamir Khan has also stated that there will be a major difference in the plotline. In the last movie, Ishan Avasthi, the dyslexic boy going through problems in school, was helped by a ‘normal’ person. In Sitaare Zameen Par, the so-called normal person will be helped with his problems and difficulties by ten people with different abilities. This is an interesting take and this slight change can alter many things in the movie.
But ‘Taare Zameen Par’ is a cult classic now, and comparison with that movie can affect the business too. Aamir Khan has stated with conviction that Sitaare Zameen Par will turn out to be a lot better than Taare Zameen Par. Aamir Khan is a trusted actor and producer and his words have huge credibility, but taking his last films into consideration, there is still much to contemplate before predicting the future of the film. Fans wait for the movie eagerly and wish a huge comeback for Aamir Khan too.
