The much-anticipated Tamil flick ‘Kanguva’ is coming on big screens within two days and is spreading its flight for a large audience, both the industry as well as for the world release. There is a satiable pre-sales figure as per credible reports, but how is it going to impact the Mollywood box office? Will it be worth the voice?
‘Kanguva’ (Eng. Man with The Power of Fire) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language epic fantasy action film directed by Siva and bankrolled by K.E Gnanavel Raja, Vamsi Krishna Reddy, and Pramod Uppalapati for Studio Green along with UV Creations.
Aspects like the wide fan-following by the Mollywood audience based on the distinctive script selection and performance at its core are the best-described attributes of actor Suriya. Although some of his movies were not that successful commercially, his work used to be praised by both critics and fans.
Hence, this upcoming movie is expected to bring in a well-cooked and blended way that can pave the prognostic way in its taste of success. Again, the difference in the approach by director Siva is remarkable as his previously released movies like ‘Annathe’ (Eng. Brother) received below-average to mixed responses from this audience and were merely focused on the commercial prospect.
Furthermore, the initial gross is expected to become high. It is hoped to cross the previously released Tamil mass entertainer ‘Vettaiyan’ and significantly impact the Mollywood box office.
Actors Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, and K. S. Ravikumar will be playing supporting roles. Again, the technical labour includes popular names like Devi Sri Prasad composing the music as well as background scores, Vetri Palanisamy handling the cinematography, and Late Nishadh Yusuf, overseeing the editing respectively.
The movie will be released worldwide on the 14th of this month and stay tuned in Binged for more updates regarding ‘Kanguva’.
