The new lore of MCU, “Moon Knight” is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The series has hooked the fans and the new episode made things really interesting where we got to see more Marc Spector than Steven Grant. It also featured some references to other MCU shows and movies from which it is clear that “Moon Knight” is important in Phase 4 of MCU and it will cause a change in the direction of MCU.
Moon Knight did a major shift by changing the usual setting from Washington DC to London. Almost all movies and series in MCU revolve around the premises of Washington which became a snag for them. In Moon Knight, they changed the usual setting into London. They also introduced Egyptian mythical Gods, widening the list of mythical characters. They only used Norse and Greek mythical figures in MCU.
There is a rumour which says Moon Knight will introduce a new Egyptian deity apart from others whose name is “Sekhmet” and she is a rogue God who likes human blood. She will become the first vampire in MCU and will set the most anticipated movie about the vampire hunter “Blade” who was introduced in Eternals.
This also means there is a possibility that Moon Knight will team up with Blade creating the infamous group of anti-heroes “Midnight Sons” where we will also see Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Punisher and other characters.
The third episode also had a huge Kang reference who is supposed to be the next Thanos level threat for the heroes of MCU. The kid appeared in the fight sequence or the young thug, his t-shirt had this Kang easter egg, an art work of pharaoh “Ramatan” who is a variant of Kang. It may be this variant of Kang who is the first Avatar of “Ammit” who betrayed Ammit. This will confirm that this Egyptian Gods has further importance in MCU even after the events of Moon Knight.
MCU is extending into a colossal level and Moon Knight will become a significant series which will change the entire MCU into a whole another level by introducing new characters and other story lines. Moon Knight’s fourth episode will be available to stream on next Wednesday 20 April 2022 only on Disney+ Hotstar.
