Now the first episode of the show is made available to watch for free on YouTube. It is a move that was used by SonyLIV for some popular shows and proved to do quite well. It is a good promotional strategy that might help in reviving the hype of the show.
‘Talmar Romeo Juliet’ had high buzz before the time of its release but it died down slowly and there is now almost no discussion of the show on social media. It is possible that after watching the first episode, people will be intrigued to watch the rest of them.
It is possible that a lot of people have not heard about the show too. Most people from the older generation are not there on OTT but they are very much present on YouTube and will get to know about the show from this. Still there is a little doubt on how large a crowd this will reach.
Talmar Romeo Juliet looks like a fresh and beautiful adaptation and it will be a shame if it is not discovered by the audiences it is meant for.
