Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter’ has now got a new release date. Helmed by ‘War’ director Siddharth Anand, ‘Fighter’ will now release in theatres on Republic Day in 2023.
Touted as India’s first aerial action franchise, ‘Fighter’ was earlier slated for release on 30th September 2022 but has now been pushed to early 2023. The shooting for the same will reportedly begin next year. The move comes as an optimistic approach for the future.

‘Fighter’ is based on the theme of patriotism and will be a tribute to the soldiers and armed forces of the country. The action film was announced on Hrithik Roshan’s birthday this January with a small video narrated by the actor himself.
This will be the third time Hrithik Roshan will be collaborating with director Siddharth Anand following ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘War’. Also, Roshan will star alongside Deepika Padukone for the first time in ‘Fighter’.
Other than directing, Anand is also turning producer with ‘Fighter’ which he will produce under his banner Marflix in association with Viacom 18 Studios. The producers for the film are Ajit Andhare, Siddharth Anand, Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb and Anku Pande.
‘Fighter’, India’s first aerial action franchise, will release in theatres on 26th January, 2023.
