Aadujeevitham or The Goat Life is one of the most important films of the year. This highly ambitious Malayalam film was a result of the pure passion and dedication that the people involved in the film showed.
The movie is directed by Blessy and it stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, KR Gokul with Amala Paul and Shobha Mohan.
The movie is based on the kind of horrifying mediaeval slave kind of treatment that Indians feel in the Gulf countries. The more disturbing fact about the film is, that it’s based on real incidents.
Obviously, the movie was banned in the Gulf countries but who cares? The movie was a huge success as it grossed ₹160 Crore.
A.R. Rahman’s music adds to the harrowing tale of the film.
Normally, a Malayalam movie takes about 4 weeks to arrive on OTT after completing its theatrical run. But things were different with The Goat Life.
Even after so many months, there was no update on the OTT release of the film. But, not anymore.
Aadujeevitham will be released on Netflix India on the 19th of July. The movie would stream in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.
