Fans are a strange breed of people. We were assuming that this Independence Day is going to be a massacre at the box office. From Bollywood, we would have Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa. From Tollywood, we would get Pushpa 2: The Rule that can single-handedly eat the entire box office excitement of Bollywood.
But, no.
This is not going to happen. In a very fresh and hot update, we have learnt that Pushpa 2: The Rule is now officially postponed. The movie initially scheduled for Independence Day will now be released on the 6th of December. The movie will get at least 20 days of big runs in the northern region until the Christmas movies arrive.
Allu Arjun announced the news himself on X. Regardless, the makers would anyways claim that the film is postponed due to the time being taken to edit film. But, could the REAL reason be different?
The makers of Pushpa are very well aware of the fact that the movie can be an absolute beast at the box office. Naturally, they would want the film to earn according to its actual potential instead of falling prey to a petty clash game.
Whatever the reason may be, fans of Pushpa: The Rise will have to wait a few more months before they are able to enjoy Pushpa 2: The Rule. Let’s hope that there is no delay after the 6th of December.
