Clashes do not benefit anyone. One needs to have stars aligned the same way as Lagaan or Gadar. Maybe even Kaabil and Raees if they want to succeed. But, clashes usually kill films. Just see the fate of Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa. It was downright stupid to clash against Stree 2, they did and the result is in front of you.
But, Tamil cinema is going to witness a more interesting clash. Because it is a clash of the titans. We are talking about Kanguva and Vettaiyan.
The release date of Kanguva was out for a long time but the makers revealed the release date of Vettaiyan just today. We knew that the film will take the Dussehra release window, but not the exact date. The movie is going to lock horns with Kanguva which is yet again a giant.
Vettaiyan stars Rajinikanth along with Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier. However, the real game changer is Amitabh Bachchan. Yes, the 82 years old actor will be seen in his Tamil debut and it is going to be a huge one.
Kanguva is not small either. The period drama received a warm response from the people after the trailer. The movie stars Suriya, Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu etc.
Let’s see what havoc they bring at the box office.
