A promo for the Hulu original series ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’, starring Oscar winner Nicole Kidman and Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy, was premiered during the 93rd Academy Awards. Coming form the creators of ‘Big Little Lies’ and ‘The Undoing’, Hulu’s ‘Nine Perfect Strangers‘ is based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty.
The video begins with Masha (Nicole Kidman) welcoming nine stressed city dwellers to Tranquilim House, a boutique health and wellness resort, and promises to make them feel well and heal by asking them to surrender themselves to her. In the rest of the video we see these nine people freaking out and acting in not so normal ways while Masha applies her unique recipes and techniques to fulfil her promise of rejuvenating and transforming their minds and bodies.
The visually intriguing and thrilling promo of Hulu’s ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ sets the perfect eerie tone for the tentpole limited series where Kidman seems to be running a cult-like center with really disturbing things happening inside it.

David E. Kelly and John Henry Butterworth serve as showrunners for the series which they have co-written with Samantha Strauss. ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ on Hulu as been produced by Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories, Kidman’s Blossom Films and Endeavor Content.
