The trailer for Alt Balaji and ZEE5’s latest web presentation, Hum Tum And Them, just dropped on social media, and from the looks of it, the web series comes across as a classic Ekta Kapoor over-the-top emotional drama.
The leads, played by Shweta Tiwari and Akshay Oberoi, are two people from different backgrounds, both disillusioned in love, and parents to precocious, and must we say, extremely opinionated, teenaged kids. Their paths cross, they share sizzling chemistry between them, and they both grab the second chance at love, life’s thrown at them.
That’s when their meddling kids step up to play the villain of the piece. The almost three-minute trailer is full of scenes where the bad-tempered, overly-entitled kids in the show hurl insinuations and allegations at their individual, shell-shocked parents.
The narrative seems to be high on drama, emotions and, of course, lots of lovemaking. Fans of the emotional roller-coasters that are Alt Balaji shows are in for a weekend treat. For, all episodes of Hum Tum And Them are slated to stream for binge-watching on Alt Balaji and ZEE5 on 6th December, just in time for the upcoming weekend.
