Hungama Play has an anthology show titled “Dhappa” streaming on the platform soon. Apart from the unique plot and premise of the show, Dhappa has another USP that makes it stand out in the crowd. And that is the stellar ensemble cast of the show. Dhappa has a bevy of popular TV stars who will appear in the web show. Some of the prominent names to feature in the cast of the show are Abigail Pande, Sanam Johar, Krissann Barretto, Abhishek Kapur, Samridh Bawa, Mohit Duseja, Monalisa, Jay Bhanushali, Smriti Khanna, Vishal Singh, Dishank Arora, Sakshi Sharma and Varunn Jain.
Abigail Pande is a well-known name for TV enthusiasts, having appeared in shows such as Saubhagyalakshmi, Laal Ishq, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, among others. Sanam Johar is a terrific dancer, and has appeared in reality shows like Dance India Dance, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Dare2Dance. Krissann Barretto is popular for her roles in shows like Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, Ishqbaaz, Class of 2017, etc.
Dhappa is a five-part comedy-drama anthology. Each of the five different stories feature couples who go to extreme lengths to hide their romance from their relatives, just like hide-and-seek. Hence the title, “Dhappa”; get it? Apart from the fun element in the stories, they also brim with unlikely twists and turns that lend interesting drama to the narratives.
