‘Brahmastra’ is directed by Ayan Mukerji and stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, Shah Rukh Khan and many others. The film was an attempt to create a new cinematic universe of divine weapons, taking inspiration from Hindu mythology. Brahmastra was a huge hit at the box office and was appreciated by audiences and critics for this new approach.
‘Brahmastra’ tells the story of Shiva, a DJ from Mumbai who falls in love with Isha. Shiva has some connection to fire and he never gets burnt. He starts getting visions and finds out that he is a part of a cult that protects the ancient ‘astras’. That cult is now in danger and Shiva does whatever he can to protect the people, and the world.
The performances in the movie were quite average. Shahrukh And Nagarjuna’s cameo appearances were wonderful. But what you need to see in the movie is the VFX. ‘Brahmastra’ shines with the lustrous visual effects and graphics.
