This is determined by the number of pageviews these titles are generating on IMDb. Each title is then ranked by IMDb as per the aggregate number of pageviews.
As far as today’s Indian films and series are concerned, the most anticipated title on IMDb is H. Vinoth’s action-adventure film ‘Thunivu’ starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role and in an intense avatar. Although the precise plot details are not known, the basic story follows an enigmatic mastermind who leads a team which executes bank heists in Chennai.
The second buzziest Indian title on IMDb as of now is the fourth instalment of the YRF spy universe – ‘Pathaan’. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the action thriller movie features superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role of a daredevil RAW agent and co-stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.
And the third most anticipated Indian title on IMDb has been bagged by the upcoming drama movie ‘Varisu’ starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film’s story is about a happy-go-lucky man whose life takes a drastic turn after his foster father suddenly dies.
Besides theatrical releases, two upcoming Indian OTT titles made it to the IMDb list. These are Shashank Khaitaan’s comedy thriller movie ‘Govinda Mera Naam’ starring Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kiara Advani and Mahesh Narayanan’s critically acclaimed slice-of-life drama movie ‘Ariyippu’ aka ‘Declaration’.
