Pierce Brosnan will next be seen as a Spy in the upcoming movie ‘In The Wind’. The movie will be a romantic thriller and not an out and out espionage movie. It had been titled ‘A Spy’s Guide To Survival’ previously.
The screenplay of the movie is written by Simon Barry and it will be directed by Barry himself. This marks the directorial debut of the writer. He has previously worked as a screenwriter in projects like ‘Warrior Nun’. The movie has been adapted from a story written by Barry’s father Derek Barry.
‘In The Wind’ will tell the story of a Spy who is now off the field and has retired ‘peacefully’. But he is soon made to come out of his safe haven and hiding to face a confounding future. The reason for his coming out is his charming new neighbour. He and his neighbour both face some secrets of their past lives and it makes them fall into a strange romantic puzzle.
Pierce Brosnan has played the enigmatic James Bond in movies like ‘Die Another Day’, ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’, ‘The World Is Not Enough’. Who could have been better than him to play a retired spy wanting a peaceful life. The casting is perfect and fans will be excited to have the charismatic actor back in the role of a spy.
