Winners of the 2022 edition of the Independent Spirit Awards, pertaining to the best independent films and series of 2021, were announced just a few hours ago at Santa Monica, California, the U.S. And Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut ‘The Lost Daughter’ has bagged the best feature award during the in-person ceremony. Besides, Maggie Gyllenhaal has also won the best director and best screenplay awards for ‘The Lost Daughter’.
Incidentally, ‘The Lost Daughter’ has also been nominated at this year’s upcoming Oscars for the best actress (Olivia Colman), best-supporting actress (Jessie Buckley), and the best-adapted screenplay (Maggie Gyllenhaal) categories.
