2020 was almost a dystopian year for the world. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone was impacted and the horrors of various sections of society are still fresh in our memories.
Several movies have already told us what went behind the lives of various people in those days. Prime Video through “Unpaused” did a good job in that. But Zee5 came too late.
The teaser of Madhur Bhandarkar’s India Lockdown is now out and it again tells the story of the first lockdown of 2020 when the Prime Minister initially announced a complete lockdown for 21 days. The laborers lost their job and were forced to go to their villages on foot.
The doctors, upper class, middle class, and everyone was badly hit by the lockdown.
But the question is, who asked for this? We realize that Madhur Bhandarkar is a great storyteller and he has often worked wonderfully.
But this teaser is pathetic.
The movie is based on such a redundant subject and the execution is so bad that it fails to generate any possible curiosity.
The movie stars Prateik Babbar, Saie Tamhankar, Shweta Basu Prasad, Aahana Kumra, and more in lead roles.
If anyone is interested, the movie will start streaming on Zee5 on the 2nd of December.
