All cricket lovers must already be aware that the Indian cricket team is presently in New Zealand for the T20 and the ongoing three-match ODI series against the Kiwis. The match is being live streamed in India on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform.
While the India – New Zealand cricket series streaming on Amazon Prime Video turned out to be a decent experience for the OTT giant’s subscribers, some viewers seemed to be unhappy with the cricket match streaming on the platform. The issue was related to the quality of streaming.
In today’s final match of the India – New Zealand ODI series, one user has expressed his discontent over the speed / buffering / starting problem while watching the match. He even uploaded a short video which showed the speed / buffering / starting problem despite having a verified internet speed of around 100 MBPS.

Now, we can’t be sure whether the speed / buffering problem is a one-off issue or more users are facing it in the said match. However, even during the India – New Zealand T20 series, which was streaming on Amazon Prime Video earlier this month, some users had complained about the speed / buffering problem while watching one of the matches on the OTT platform.
Likewise, another user complained about a bandwidth issue, apparently while watching today’s cricket match on Amazon Prime Video.
@primevideosport @PrimeVideoIN worst live streaming experience. Bandwidth issue on their side and showing message to user. @Hotstar is flawless on the other hand.#PrimeVideo #hotstar @StarSportsIndia

We just hope that the aforementioned issue experienced by the viewers of the India New Zealand cricket series streaming on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform have been resolved. So that live sports becomes a regular feature in the future for Amazon Prime Video’s subscribers in India.
