There is a strange kind of relationship between India and Pakistan. On the one hand, India is crazy about Pakistani music, and Pakistan loves Indian films. But when it comes to sports, particularly Cricket, it is a WAR.
Both teams and the fans treat it as a war and the response is always overwhelming. People break televisions, hurl abuse, crack fireworks and whatnot.
JioHotstar streamed the latest India vs Pakistan match that gained more than 60 crore views. But we are not talking about JioHotstar at all.
We are talking about Netflix India.
But wait…when did Netflix start streaming cricket matches?
Well, you must know about the documentary “India vs Pakistan: The Greatest Rivalry.”
The documentary series is trending on Netflix India at #1 for the last two weeks. The documentary is not at all an ideal one. It is average at its best but hey … it is India vs Pakistan and this can not NOT make any noise.
So looks like this highly mediocre series has managed to become a hit on the platform and that is why Netflix is making only and only mediocre documentary series.
Anyway, two rival OTT platforms are rejoicing on the same India vs Pakistan sentiment and it is kinda unique.
