Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s extreme action movie ‘Kill’ has been in the news for all the right reasons. First, it garnered a wonderful response from the audiences at the reputed Toronto International Film Festival 2023 (TIFF).
Later, the movie was picked up by the entertainment giant Lionsgate for film’s North American and UK rights with respect to its theatrical release in these regions. It’s a rare thing to see a mainstream Hindi language Indian movie cut a deal and collaborate with a big Hollywood studio in this manner.
And now, as per the latest update, ‘Kill’ has just received its theatrical release date in India. The movie will be released in Indian cinemas on 5th July 2024. As of now, ‘Kill’ holds a perfect 100% critics’ score on reviews aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes. It tells us how much the international audiences have liked the Indian action flick which is backed by Karan Johar.
Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the underlying plot of ‘Kill’ revolves around the story of a commando named Amrit (Lakshya), whose lover Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) is being coerced by her family for an arranged marriage. But when the train in which Tulika is travelling gets attacked by ruthless bandits, it’s up to Amrit and his fellow commando to save the train passengers from the violent attackers and save the girl.
