The official trailer of Indian Matchmaking Season 2 is out and don’t be surprised if you never asked for this. In fact, a majority of shows that Netflix makes, seem to be decided by a bunch of people who never bother to care about the public’s demand.
Regardless, the trailer is out, and just like the first season, it is not going to please a majority of people. Sima Taparia aka Sima Aunty is again matchmaking people of the Indian diaspora with unindian accents.
She is not happy about the fact that single people are becoming too choosy and they forget to accept a person as a whole. They want a person who is customised or let’s say assembled to their ideas of a perfect person.
But somehow Sima convinces those people with immature ideas to date their potential partners.
To sum up, the whole trailer is actually a bird’s eye view of how the series is going to be. It is unbearable for the masses but quite obviously some people will definitely like it.
It is the decision of Netflix whether they want to make it big by making great mass appeal shows like Sacred Games or continue to go broke by walking the woke way.
Regardless, the show premieres on August 10.
