Netflix has dropped a gripping teaser for the third part of Indian Predator documentary series titled ‘Murder In The Courtroom’. Helmed by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni and based on a true story, ‘Indian Predator: Murder In A Courtroom’ will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 28th October, 2022.
The teaser for the true crime docuseries has a gang of women living in the slums gathering and marching together silently. With a deadly revenge mission on mind their destination is a courtroom where a predator is scheduled to be presented before a judge.
The visuals are supported by a groovy upbeat rap song called “Chakka Jam” composed by Mangesh Dhakde and sung by MC Mawali, Vipin Tatad and Shital Sathe. The lyrics are all about fighting back against the evil and injustice without worrying about the consequences.
In 2004, a brutal predator was lynched in a courtroom, ‘Indian Predator: Murder In A Courtroom’ is the story of the community he terrorised and the vengeance they unleashed.
‘Murder In A Courtroom’ is the third instalment of the ‘Indian Predator’ which was among the 41 Indian original titles announced by Netflix last year and is one of the three first ever true crime docu-series from Netflix India. It will tell the story of serial killers in the country.
The first two parts of the ‘Indian Predator’ are ‘The Butcher of Delhi’ and ‘The Diary of a Serial Killer’. While the first one was based on a serial killer who shook Delhi, the second one was about a dreaded criminal of Uttar Pradesh. This latest third season ‘Murder In A Courtroom’ is the story of a murderer and rapist from Maharashtra.
‘Murder In A Courtroom’ is directed by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni and will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 28th October, 2022.
