Netflix has released the trailer of its upcoming true-crime documentary series ‘Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi’ and it’s as dreadful as it gets. Helmed by Ayesha Sood, Umesh Kulkarni, Ashwin Shetty and Dheeraj Jindal, ‘Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi’ will premiere only on Netflix on 20th July, 2022.
Following the same format as ‘House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths’, ‘Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi’ follows the police hunt for a cold blooded criminal who wasn’t just killing innocent people but also challenging the whole system.
The trailer shows how he dumps mutilated bodies outside Tihar Jail in Delhi and sends taunting notes along with it challenging the police to catch him if they can. The case was so terrifying that it shock the entire system who hadn’t seen anything like that in a very long time despite Delhi witnessing high numbers of crime on a regular basis.
Investigation revealed that more such murders have taken place and different body parts were dumped across Delhi. Through the letters the killer sent with bodies it was obvious that the killer had huge grudges with the police and also knew the system’s working.
But the difficult part was that neither the victims were known, nor the accused or the place of occurrence of the crime and yet Delhi Police was on its feet running against time to save innocent souls. What adds to the thrill is the way ‘Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi’ has been shot with terrifying ominous music in the background.
‘Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi’ is a bone-chilling, blood curdling true crime story of a cold blooded serial killer in the city of Delhi. ‘Indian Predator’ was among the 41 Indian original titles announced by Netflix last year and is one of the three first ever true crime docu-series from Netflix India. It will tell the story of serial killers in the country and ‘Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi’ is its first chapter.
Jointly produced by Vice Media and India Today, ‘Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi’ will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 20th July, 2022.
