Indians Couldn’t Escape With Netflix’s Escape Room 2! See How

Netflix is a strange place. A lot of movies/series gain unexpected viewership even when no one is expecting them to. One such sleeper hit is Escape Room 2 aka Escape Room: Tournament Of Champions.

It is a sequel to the 2019 released Escape Room which surprisingly became a highly successful film. It comes under the genre of psychological horror/Thriller and was released on 17th February.

The cast includes Taylor Russell, Logan Miller, and Deborah Ann Woll reprising their roles from the first film, alongside new cast members Indya Moore, Holland Roden, Thomas Cocquerel, and Carlito Olivero.

The film is about 6 people who get trapped in another series of escape rooms that is different from what we saw in the first part.

This deep trouble gives a better insight into the psyche of the character and how they come up with solutions.

According to the data published by Netflix, the film was the most viewed movie in India last week.

The film is directed by Adam Robitel who also played the role of Gabe in the 2019 version of Escape Room.

After Looop Lapeta on 4th February, no Indian film has been released on Netflix and perhaps that’s the reason we are getting to see such sleeper hits.
