Season 1 of ‘Inside Man’ is now streaming on Netflix in Hindi and English.
The show has a cast of incredibly talented David Tennant, Lydia West, Stanley Tucci, Dolly Wells, Atkins Estimond and many others in important roles. And there is no need to say that the performances are great.
Inside Man is created by Steven Moffat and directed by Paul McGuigan and the music is composed by famous composer Mike McLennan.
The series is available in English and Hindi audios. But there was a slight problem with the Hindi audio. The Hindi song Chaiyya Chaiyya was played instead of the original series audio whenever the language was changed. However, the issue is now resolved.
Paul McGuigan is well known for directing films like ‘Push’, ‘Gangster No 1’, ‘Lucky Number Slevin’, and also episodes of ‘Sherlock’, ‘Monroe’, ‘Scandal’ etc.
The crime drama miniseries has only 4 episodes and is perfect for a quick watch. You can binge it on the go even if you are a busy person.
The series follows the story of a sentenced prisoner who wants atonement for his sins and a woman trapped in a cellar under an English vicarage and how they meet in the most unexpected way. A journalist looking for a story on a train and a math tutor of the English lady’s son also become part of the story and it all leads to a murder and mystery.
Inside Man is definitely not a masterpiece but it is good as a one time entertainer. It is described as a ‘funny and typically meaty mystery from Steven Moffat’ by The Guardian. However it will be a nice one to watch on a quick journey.
