The official trailer for Randeep Hooda’s new small budget JioCinema movie is released. The movie is titled ‘Inspector Avinash’ and will premiere on the 18th of May. The film also has actors like Abhimanyu Singh, Amit Sial, Urvashi Rautela, Ajay Singh, Shalin Bhanot, Akansha Puri and many others.
The trailer features the actor as the Nemesis of all criminals. Inspector Avinash Mishra, is shown as an earnest devotee of Mahakaal Shiv and regards Him as above all of universe. The actions of Inspector Avinash are however questionable as he recklessly shoots criminals inside their pants and goes on encountering them. The ruthless cop knows no mercy and it is difficult to define him as a hero or a villain.
Inspector Avinash is directed by Neerraj Pathak. It is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Neerraj Pathak and Krishan Chowdhury.
JioCinema is rising to the biggest OTT giants in India with its huge Marathi, Hindi and Bengali slate. Also with the HBO and Warner Bros shows added to the platform, JioCinema is gaining popularity very quickly. Randeep Hooda’s Mahakaal is opting for direct OTT release on the platform that is very much in hype right now. But the look of the film does not at all justify the hype for the film. It looks like carelessly made and shows the lack of dedication. The dialogues are sloppy and the writing does not do any justice to Randeep Hooda at all.
Despite having a cast of good actors, the trailer somehow lacks in realism and believability. There is a certain over the top vibe to the whole trailer. Yet, with Randeep Hooda in the lead, it is never too bad to watch.
