The premise of Inspector Rishi, a 10 episode TV series starring Naveen Chandra in the lead role seems intriguing to say the least. All set to be launched on 29th March exclusively on Prime Video, the trailer boasts a myriad of interconnected puzzles and flabbergasted police officers.
Set amidst the lush greenery of a village in Tamil Nadu, crews of police officers are greeted with disfigured bodies entangled within webs. Sometimes the bodies are animals, while other times, human. The one thing they have in common: clouds of fluttering, shimmering green insects floating near the carcasses.
The trailer oscillates to and fro between green and orange visual frames. Throughout the teaser, the protagonist and his sidekicks are seen navigating their way not only through grotesquely intriguing crime scenes and intricate clues, but also the difficulties in their personal lives.
The thriller series visibly has paranormal, mystical and mythical undertones. It also shows off an amazing cast including big names like Kanna Ravi, Sunaina, Malini Jeevarathnam, Sri Krishna Dayal and Kumarave. With stunning cinematography and strong acting, this limited piece of cinema is all set to premier in India and over two hundred countries and territories. With a mystery as captivating as is portrayed, Inspector Rishi is ready to take all of us along on this rollercoaster ride!
