Interactive Titles: A Big Breakthrough For Netflix

There is no denying the fact that Netflix has been a pioneer when it comes to OTT platforms. Netflix has not only been the most consistent player but has also been able to make shows and movies that were thought to be impossible at one time. Another one of their path-breaking revolution in this space has been the ‘Interactive Titles’ that have been released on the platform.

These interactive titles could really pave the way for the future as you get to choose your ending, and you will guide all the choices that the character makes. This sounds too good to be true, right.

You can go to Netflix and check out the below-mentioned list of interactive titles for yourself:

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch

This has got to be by far one of the best interactive titles made by the platform. (I guess you could say ever because no one else has ever attempted something so audacious).

Bandersnatch is the story of Stefan, a video game coder trying to get his first game published, and the entire story revolves around the choices he makes (or rather the choices you make.). Collin is another gifted game developer and plays an important part in this movie. We would have told you the story, but it keeps on changing.

You vs. Wild

You vs. Wild is an interactive title that features your very own Bear Grylls, and guess what, this time, he actually listens to you as you guide him through the various incidents in a manner that you think is fit.
In this series, you are taken to several remote places right from jungles to snow mountains to a desert, and you make the decisions while Bear does the job.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend

This is a fun-filled interactive title in which Kimmy is getting married, but she has first to decipher and beat the evil plot of the Reverend. What should Kimmy do next is totally up to you. Be careful; you don’t want to disrupt a marriage now, do you?

This is the most fun, and light-hearted interactive title on this list as the entire film is filled with humour instead of the highly philosophical or survival instincts required for the previous two titles.

You have other cartoon shows such as Captain Underpants: epic Choice-o-Rama, Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale, and Boss Baby: Get that baby, which should thoroughly mesmerize and capture the imagination of your child.

These interactive titles are just in its infancy right now, but they sure hold a lot of promise and could be the next path-breaking thing in the world of OTT platforms.
