Sukumar proved his mettle on the pan-India stage with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise. The versatile filmmaker is currently focused on Pushpa: The Rule, which Allu Arjun says will release in the most number of Indian languages for any Indian film till date. Now, an interesting update pertaining to Sukumar’s forthcoming project has surfaced on the internet and it is going viral.
As per reports, Sukumar is penning an action drama script for Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay. He is expected to approach the star actor with his script once he is done with the second installment of Pushpa. If Vijay likes the script pitched by Sukumar, this project might actually hit the floors. This might be a speculation for now, but it sure is a mighty interesting one.
Vijay is also focusing on the Telugu market now. In fact, he is dubbing for his forthcoming release, Beast in Telugu. This should come a long way in appeasing the Telugu audience and could ultimately boost Vijay’s image in the twin Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Thalapathy66 is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual and it will be directed by Telugu filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally. This project will commence shooting in the next couple of months.
It is very much evident that Vijay has set his sight on the Telugu market now and rightly so. If he actually collaborates with Sukumar of Pushpa fame for one of his upcoming projects, this collaboration could set the South Indian box office on fire.
