Amidst ongoing rumours, T-Series have just come out and released an authorised statement regarding the vagueness around Kartik Aryan starrer Aashiqui 3, and its development as a whole. They have indisputably confirmed that they are not involved in anything Aashiqui related at the moment, and that even if it were to be so, it would be a joint venture between T-Series and VIshesh Films, acting as producers.
The statement from T-Series reiterated their focus on bringing to screens superior and exceptional content that their loyal fanbase has come to know and love. Albeit not associated with the Aashiqui franchise at the moment, T-Series are zealous about delving into new and unique projects that clearly are in line with their benchmarks of quality.
For a while, T-Series remained quiet regarding these developments even though it was thought to be finalized. However there was a High Court case filed by Vishesh Films against T-Series claiming ownership exploitation regarding the said franchise. Navigating through these legalities may be why the silence had been so loud, for so long.
A big factor as to why the flames of Aashiqui 3 rumours were being fanned currently is also because back in September 2022, Kartik had shared a live motion poster for the movie, and has also expressed his deep rooted interest in being able to work with Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar, being veterans in their field. T-Series are also presently involved in a movie with Anurag Basu at its helm, hence propagating the Aashiqui 3 speculations, but have since then cleared that it has nothing to do with the series.
