Is Munna Tripathi The Poor Little Rich Boy Of Mirzapur 2?

By Binged Bureau - Oct 13, 2020 @ 07:10 pm
Is Munna Tripathi The Poor Little Rich Boy Of Mirzapur 2?

In a recent video released by Amazon Prime Video our very own Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu Sharma) from Mirzapur speaks out to his father aka Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi). This father-son duo had a relationship of their own kind which we all witnessed in Mirzapur season 1.

In the video Munna narrates a letter that he writes for his father sharing what’s going on in his mind and heart. We saw in the first season of Mirzapur how Munna’s reckless aggressive behaviour brought troubles for him and his father. In the promotional video we see how Munna addresses that he knows how his father has always considered him useless and unworthy and how he will prove his worthiness.

After the Gorakhpur wedding massacre Munna is all rejuvenated and feels confident that from now onwards only his name will be known in Mirzapur. Munna justifies the murders at the wedding by saying that he took everything from Guddu because the latter took away his work, his love and his right from him.

He goes on to express that he did all of this just to make his father proud. Munna might not have said this before to him but he says it now that he feels good when Kaleen Bhaiya takes his stand and trusts him with something important. He wants his father to keep showing trust in him and promises that he will show him that he is worthy to be the next King of Mirzapur.

While Munna is among the antagonist in the series, the relation he shares with his father is so very normal. Like any other child, Munna longs for his father’s trust, attention, consideration and wants to make him feel proud of him. But somewhere along the line he commits a mistake that takes him back to square one.

In this second season of Mirzapur, Munna has gained a new confidence level and is ready to take on any challenge that comes his way head on. He is determined to sit on Mirzapur’s throne and rule it. But do you think he will be able to do so? Mirzapur 2 is all about revenge with everyone after someone and a strong motive fueling the fire of rage within them.

While you ponder over who will be the new ruler of Mirzapur, watch this to know what Munna Bhaiya has to say to his father aka Kaleen Bhaiya👇
