ZEE5 has decided to change its logo and overall design, and while the new look is clean and simple, many users are not happy about it. The old logo was something people had become familiar with, and this sudden change feels not up to the mark to a lot of viewers. The bigger issue, however, is that instead of improving the quality of shows and content, ZEE5 seems more focused on its appearance. Recently, they have ignored promoting content which is potentially very lucrative to them and focused all their attention on this rebranding.
People on social media, especially on X (formerly Twitter), have been openly criticising this move. They feel that the platform is trying to distract viewers from the lack of good content by doing a flashy rebranding. And to make things worse, ZEE5 has now started using bot accounts to fake positive reactions. These accounts are posting the same kind of comments about how ZEE5 shows “resonate with the common people” and how “the content is relatable.” But anyone who spends even a little time online can tell that these are not real people talking. There are tons and tons of such tweets that are quite embarrassing and useless.
The tweets are forced, robotic, and honestly, quite embarrassing. Instead of winning people over, this move is making ZEE5 look even more out of touch. Viewers don’t care about a new logo or fake tweets; they just want better stories, good acting, and shows that actually hold their attention. If ZEE5 really wants to grow, it should focus on what matters most: giving people quality content. A new logo won’t fix the problem, and neither will bot tweets. It’s time the platform listens to its audience and gets back to what truly matters, good entertainment.
