Srijit Mukherjee is once again coming back with his Feluda adaptation ‘Bhushworgo Bhoyonkor’ and fans are excited. Mukherjee is a director who always comes up with multiple projects in a year and tries to deliver as much as possible.
But audiences have complained that his voracious filmmaking style is taking a toll on its quality; there are some projects that are being left behind as well. Srijit Mukherjee had announced his project ‘Loho Gouranger Naam Re’ quite a long time ago, he had also shared a first look picture of Priyanka Sarkar as Nati Binodini, the first theater actress of India. But there has been no update on the movie ever since.
Nati Binodini is having a big-budget biopic of her own and Loho Gouranger Naam will have several overlapping plotlines with the biopic. Srijit has clarified before that it is not a biopic but tries to catch the essence of the age. The possibility of the movie being shelved because of a similar movie coming out is very low, and Srijit has pulled this off multiple times.
But what is causing this unexpected delay is not known yet and hopefully there will be some update soon. Fans expect of Srijit Mukherjee to make a comeback with a awesome story that can go beyond the Tollygunge borders and be a national hit, Loho Gouranger Naam might be able to achieve that.
