Prime Video sent all Indian OTT followers into a tizzy with its brilliant slate of Indian titles coming up soon on the platform. Notable among the titles were several from Raj & DK, the creators of the superhit Prime Video show, ‘The Family Man’. ‘Farzi’, ‘Gulkanda Tales’ and ‘The Family Man 3’ are the titles that Raj & DK are working on for Prime Video.
Last night, Raj & DK posted an enigmatic tweet that has fans of their work swooning in delight. Their tweet hints about the getting together of two of their leading men – Manoj Bajpayee, The Family Man, and Vijay Sethupathi, their righteous lawman from Farzi. Raj & DK posted – “When MB and VS meet… there’s more to it than that meets the eye ”

Whoa! So does that mean that Vijay Sethupathi will be a part of ‘The Family Man Season 3 as well? Raj & DK have a penchant to identify and include talented actors from the South into ‘The Family Man’ franchise. Neeraj Madhav, Sundeep Kishan, Priyamani, Kishor and Samantha Prabhu are some of the actors from the South that the duo introduced in The Family Man. Now is it the turn of Vijay Sethupathi to be a part of ‘The Family Man 3’? It’ll be really great news if it is true.
Of course, it could be the other way round too. Manoj Bajpayee could be playing a cameo in ‘Farzi’. But we think the probability of Vijay Sethupathi being a part of The Family Man 3 is higher, given its track record of getting South stars playing crucial roles in the first two seasons.
Farzi is a fast-paced action thriller that features Shahid Kapoor play a conman and Vijay Sethupathi a police officer out to clean up the country of rogue elements. Raashi Khanna and Regina Cassandra play pivotal roles in the series.
