Rejoice our South Indian readers, for we bring glad tidings! The hit Marvel web series ‘Loki’ is finally releasing in Tamil and Telugu starting from Wednesday. The Marvel web series has been streaming on Disney+ Hotstar in India in English and Hindi, so these additional two dubbed versions of the regional languages will be a welcome addition. But it does come with a down side however.
This coming Wednesday is also the date when the fourth episode of ‘Loki‘ will drop. However only the first episode of ‘Loki’ will be featured in the aforementioned four languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English. So the Tamil and Telugu versions will always be three weeks behind.
Of course, diehard Marvel fans can always check out the series in English and Hindi, but now the Tamil and Teligu audiences have the option to wait for the series to drop in their regional language. They just have to be patient and avoid spoilers for the next three weeks. Yikes.
Still, it is good to see the Disney+ Hotstar js delivering on their promise of diversity in Indian languages. Hopefully by the time ‘Black Widow’ and the ‘What If…?’ animated series rolls around, we will have more Indian languages to watch them in.

The fourth episode of the series drops on 30th June 2021, which is also the date when the first episode of ‘Loki‘ will release for streaming in Tamil and Telugu languages.
