If Marvel Studios has its way, the hotly awaited Spiderman 3 will very well turn out to be the biggest, boldest and best ever iteration of the superhero franchise. For, what had been considered to be mere rumours until now has been proved to be a fact after all. And the fact is that Spiderman 3 will have all three versions of Spiderman together in a single film for the first time ever. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, the actors who played the masked superhero in its previous versions, are joining Tom Holland in Spiderman 3.
Sony gave solid proof of the happening of the aforementioned, when it accidentally released a Spiderman 3 teaser, which had the title –
“The 3 Spider-Man Together”. And this, “Who is your favorite Spider-Man?”. The teaser post further added, “You don’t have to choose – in the Marvel multiverse, anything can happen. In Spider-Man 3 you will quite possibly see everyone — yes — the three Peter Parkers saving the world together.”
The Teaser makes it as clear as day that all three versions of Spidey are actually coming together in one movie. The news has been making the rounds since a couple of weeks, but has been dismissed as rumours by naysayers. The teaser was posted accidentally by Sony Latin America, got shared hundreds of times, before the channel deleted it. Then someone re-uploaded the teaser, but it was again taken down by Sony.
Spiderman 3 has been getting huge attention due to the nuggets of information that has been getting revealed about the much-awaited film. The first was the news of Dr Strange being a part of the film. He will be playing mentor to Tom Holland’s version of Spiderman. Next was the information that Jamie Foxx will reprise his character of Electro in the new film, a rule he had played in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. There’s also unconfirmed news that Dr Octopus is returning in Spiderman 3.
Yet, one thing is clear. Fans will be treated to the reality of a magnificent Spider-Verse, and its gonna be a blast!
