One of the most highly anticipated Tamil language Indian movies of 2022 – ‘Cobra’, has finally been released in theatres today. The action thriller features eminent actor Vikram in the titular role. As per the latest reports, ‘Cobra’ is expected to start streaming on the SonyLIV OTT platform after completing its theatrical run.
Written and directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, the plotline of ‘Cobra’ revolves around the titular protagonist who is known for his perfectly executed assassinations of some of the powerful leaders of the world. On his trail is a reputed Turkish Interpol officer, who is hellbent on bringing down the highly intelligent and most wanted criminal with the help of several clues. A Maths teacher named Madhiazhagan also gets involved in the case.
Some of the early reviews for the Vikram starrer movie ‘Cobra’ suggest that although the film has a fresh concept with top notch production values, it suffers from a rather confusing narrative besides being lengthy.
