The highly anticipated Hindi film franchise, Housefull 5, is finally scheduled to debut in September. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has teamed up actors Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, and Sanjay Dutt for a comedy ride that takes place on a cruise, pulling off a casting coup for the male protagonists.
With a budget of Rs. 300 crores, it’s the most costly Housefull movie to date, and the filmmakers are doing all in their power to cast the franchise even more broadly. We have learned that Sajid Nadiadwala has signed Jacqueline Fernandez as one of the female leads of the film after a cast of A-List male actors to play the film’s leads. Jacqueline is matched opposite none other than Akshay Kumar in the upcoming high-voltage film.
Sajid is reportedly in negotiations with three additional prominent women to join him on the project, and an official statement is expected soon. Housefull 5, which was supposed to be released on Diwali in 2024, will now instead take place on June 6, 2025. In December of last year, Sajid Nadiadwala announced the delay on Instagram.
With stars like Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, and now Jacqueline Fernandez, Housefull 5 looks to break several records and achieve huge numbers at the Box Office.
