Jamtara Season 2 is coming to Netflix within three days. Although the first season was a decent success, the promos of the second season look even better. The story is a heist drama that revolves around a village called Jamtara in Jharkhand. The young boys of this village get involved in telephonic scams where they call random people and plunder their money online.
The first season ended on a cliffhanger where we kept on wondering what unfolds for Sunny. But, this time the scams are going to be bigger.
The promos have assured that they would be addressing the problem of online scams in a much more diverse way. We all must have gotten a message saying “Aapki Lottery Lagi Hai” (You’ve Won A Lottery).
Also, some people are habituated to using apps where scammers ask for money in order to satisfy their sexual urges. Normally, the victims are males who are lured by photos/videos of females.
Not only that, this season stars veteran actress Seema Pahwa who would be handling the political aspects of the show.
The bottom line is, that The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives was a pathetic show and Netflix needed a buzzy and big show which continues its slate with good titles. Just like Delhi Crime did.
Let’s hope Jamtara Season 2 doesn’t disappoint the cinephiles.
