Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Janhit Mein Jaari was released on ZEE5 on 15th July. Needless to say, this film had a very low buzz and it was pretty obvious that not a lot of people would take interest in the film. But one thing was for sure, it was leaps and bounds better than Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad.
Janhit Mein Jaari is a smaller failure than Dhaakad in theatres and OTT.
Unlike Netflix, no other platform consistently releases its viewing stats. Zee5 has developed this new habit of releasing their viewing stats only if the titles reach a certain threshold in terms of views.
Janhit Mein Jaari has reached that threshold where Zee5 is comfortable sharing viewing stats. The social comedy revolving around the usage of condoms has been streamed for over 100 Million minutes on the platform. This data was released by the platform today only, thus confirming the fact that Janhit Mein Jaari took 8 days maximum to reach that benchmark.

Now, talking about Dhaakad, Binged reported that the film is nowhere near success on OTT also. Talking about the stats shared by Zee5, Dhaakad took around 16 days to reach the threshold.
