Zee Studios has dropped the trailer of its upcoming social comedy drama ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ and this one sends a strong social message while tickling your funny bones. Presented by Vinod Bhanushali and Raaj Shaandilyaa and helmed by Jai Basantu Singh, ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ will release in cinemas on 10th June, 2022.
The trailer begins with Manu (Nushrratt Bharuccha) being offered a reasonably paying job of an executive at Little Umbrella Pvt. Ltd., a condom manufacturing company. Though she initially misinterprets the offer and lashes out at the owner, she later joins the company.
Living in a society that considers essential commodities like condoms a taboo it isn’t going to be an easy task for Manu to convince people into buying them, specially considering that she is a woman. Moreover, the resistance from society adds the extra pressure.
Like any other normal young woman Manu also falls in love and soon gets married to the love of her life played by Anud Singh Dhaka. While his husband knows the truth about her job he hides it from his family. Although entually Manu’s conservative father in law (Vijay Raaz) discovers what she does for a living and is totally against it.
The rest of the trailer is full of fun, laughter and a whole lot of drama as Manu takes a strong stand for what’s right. ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ sends a dual social message where it’s not just about the importance of condoms and birth control but also about women’s rights and how society sets various prejudices for what women should and should not do.
‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ marks the directorial debut of Jai Basantu Singh and alongside Nushrratt Bharuccha stars Anud Dhaka, Tinni Anand,Annu Kapoor, Brijendra Kala and Paritosh Tripathi among others.
Following ’Dream Girl’, ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ is Nushrratt Bharuccha’s second collaboration with Raaj Shaandilyaa. She plays the role of an executive at a condom manufacturing company in the social comedy drama.
‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ is a Bhanushali Studios presentation and a Think Ink Picturez Ltd production in association with Shree Raghav Entertainment LLP. The film is bankrolled by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Vishal Gurnani, Raaj Shaandilyaa, Vimal Lahoti, Shradha Chandavarkar, Bunty Raghav and Rajesh Raghav. Juhi Parekh Mehta serves as the co-producer. ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ will release in theatres on 10th June, 2022.
