Naveen Polishetty, Priyadarshi, and Rahul Ramakrishna have stolen the show in the Telugu film, Jathiratnalu which released earlier this week. The movie is minting huge money to all those involved in the trade. Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna are known to be a Hit comedy pair and are close friends in real-life as well.
Priyadarshi is already two projects old in the OTT space and is also shooting for another web series for Aha Video, the Regional Telugu Exclusive OTT platform. Rahul Ramakrishna was asked about this by Binged.com in an interview.
“I am very happy for Priyadarshi. He is coming up with interesting projects in the OTT space. I have shot for four OTT projects. But situations have changed now and they may land in theaters first,” he revealed. It looks like he has shot for films made exclusively for OTT but now, the makers may be rethinking their release strategy. This has become a norm in the Telugu film industry after normalcy returned to the theaters after 100% occupancy is allowed by the Government of India.
Meanwhile, Jathiratnalu is going to arrive on Amazon Prime Video. The movie may arrive in the OTT space in the middle of April.
