And Netflix will get an exclusive director’s cut for Netflix. Just the way there is Snyder Cut for Justice League, we will get Atlee cut for Jawan.
The director, Atlee Kumar, is working on a new director’s cut of the film for Netflix. This version will be longer, around 3 hours and 15 minutes, compared to the original 2-hour and 45-minute theatrical release, promising viewers a more immersive experience when “Jawan” arrives on the OTT platform.
If this news comes out to be true then imagine the havoc it’ll create at Netflix as well. A lot of people who have already loved the movie on the big screens would again watch it on Netflix. This is an insanely huge opportunity for Netflix. Looks like the huge sum they paid for the digital rights of Jawan will be worth it.
