Malayalam actor Jayasurya‘s 103rd film, ‘Eesho’ is gearing up for a direct digital release. Touted as a thriller, this upcoming Malayalam language film will stream directly on SonyLIV. Eesho is set to premiere on the platform on 26th August, 2022.
The makers had unveiled official teaser of ‘Eesho‘ around three months ago. Jayasurya appears to be an anti-hero in the film as he also references Judas in the teaser. This film is officially Jayasurya’s third direct OTT film since the pandemic. Sufiyum Sujathayum and Vellam were the previous direct digital releases of the actor. Eesho is directed by Nadirshah who reunites with Jayasurya after the 2015 blockbuster ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’.
The film stars Jayasurya in the titular role with Namitha Pramod as the female lead. Jaffar Idukki also plays a prominent role in the film. Eesho is written by Suneesh Varanad and bankrolled by Arun Narayan. Roby Varghese is the cinematographer of the film, while Shameer Muhammad is the Editor. Nadirshah composed the music and the original background score is composed by Rahul Raj. Eesho is Jayasurya’s third release this year across OTT and theatre releases. Besides Eesho, the actor has films like ‘Enthada Saji’, Kathanar Part 1 and 2, Rama Sethu, Writer and Aadu 3 in his upcoming line-up. ‘Eesho’ will stream on SonyLIV from August 26th.
