The digital rights of ‘Kooman‘ are bagged by Amazon Prime Video. Drishyam director Jeetu Joseph’s ‘Kooman’ is set in a small village in the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border with people from both states residing there. The story follows a strict police officer who is appointed there and suddenly the lives of people along with his own turn upside down. Many normal events of the past and present seem to be abnormal and it progresses to make a perfect build-up for the thriller.
The film stars Asif Ali and has a superb cast with Hannah Reji Koshy, Renji Panicker, Baburaj and many more actors in important characters. The story and the script is written by K.R Krishna Kumar and the music is given by Vishnu Shyam.
Kooman will hit the theaters on the 4th of November. It will be streaming on Prime Videos some time after the release. Joseph’s success ratio and quality kf scripts make it a easy guess that the movie will run in the theaters for quite a long time.
Drishyam 2 starring Mohanlal got many positive reviews and the Hindi remake is also all set to release on the 18th of November. Jeetu Joseph has made huge fame in the genre of thrillers with ‘Drishyam’ and its sequel. Earlier this year Jeetu released ’12th Man’ collaborating again with Mohanlal.
Jeetu Joseph has a decent fan base in Malayalam film industry and also beyond that. He has earned this dedicated fandom with his great directing skills.
