The leading lady of Marvel’s Jessica Jones series, Krysten Ritter, has teased her appearance in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again Disney+ series, starring Charlie Cox. This does not come as a surprise, considering the show’s creative reboot and the recent addition of Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson to the cast.
The Marvel fanbase wants Krysten Ritter to reprise her popular superheroine role in Born Again. The rumours about her MCU return reignited after Marvel Studios officially canonised all the Netflix shows. Now, it seems like these rumours may turn out to be true.
A well-known scooper, Cosmic Marvel, has shared Ritter’s latest Instagram story (on Twitter) in which the actress teased her highly anticipated MCU return. In the story, she can be seen wearing a t-shirt that was worn by her character, Jessica Jones, in one of the episodes from the series. She also added a caption: “IYKYK” (If you know, you know).
Krysten Ritter shares a new video on Instagram wearing the same shirt as Jessica Jones with the caption:

Ritter’s appearance as Jessica Jones makes sense as Kingpin plans to become a mayor in Daredevil: Born Again, teased by Echo’s post-credits scene. Plus, Wilson Fisk possesses a large criminal empire. It will not be easy for Matt Murdock to take down Fisk single-handedly. The superhero protagonist will need all the help he can get to stop Fisk.
The return of Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones could also pave the way for the return of Luke Cage and Iron Fist, potentially reuniting all the Defenders. Rumours about Marvel Studios planning to develop a female-centric Iron Fist show, based on Jessica Henwick’s Colleen Wing, have also surfaced. Finn Jones is expected to have a cameo appearance in this one. All these scenarios are teasing the return of Marvel’s popular street-level superhero faction, The Defenders. As for Daredevil: Born Again, the series is expected to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar in 2025. Stay tuned for more updates.
