Streaming giant Disney+Hotstar has released the trailer of its upcoming action series Jhansi. The series starring Anjali in the lead role and also stars Chandini Chowdary, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Raj Arun, and Samyukta Hornad in important roles.
It is directed by Thiru who is famous for directing many Telugu movies. Regardless, the series was to stream from the 20th of October initially but later got shifted to the 27th.
Regardless, the series is about a warrior girl who goes through memory loss. She had a past in which she was involved in mafias, killers, and all.
But she won’t be forgiven only because she lost her memories. Her enemies are after her and she is focused on getting rid of them.
That’s why she is concerned only for her enemies and doesn’t care about friends. But, she has a little idea about her past as she says that in nightmares we don’t remember faces but only feelings.
Overall, the trailer promises to be a nice action thriller if executed well but that is left for 27th October to know.
Jhansi will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar and after the enormous success of Aarya, it will be interesting to see how they bring a high-octane female-led series to life.
