After the resounding success of ‘Kaalkoot’, Jio Cinema has announced its next original series. And it’s a legal drama, titled ‘Lakhan Leela Bhargava’. TV star Ravie Dubey plays the title role of criminal lawyer Lakhan Leela Bhargava in the series. Interestingly, the first letters of the words in the name make the short form ‘LLB’, the law degree awarded to lawyers in India.
Jio Cinema has also revealed the first teaser for ‘Lakhan Leela Bhargava’, along with a release date for the show. The legal and courtroom drama ‘Lakhan Leela Bhargava’ premieres on Jio Cinema on 21st August, 2023. The tagline for the series states “Herogiri Se Karenge Lawgiri”.
The ‘Lakhan Leela Bhargava’ teaser shows Ravie Dubey playing a larger than life criminal lawyer in the series. Set in the backdrop of Lucknow, the series will tackle various crime cases, which Ravie Dubey’s criminal lawyer character will solve.
Besides Ravie Dubey, ‘Lakhan Leela Bhargava’ stars actors Sanvikaa, Sonali Sachdeva, Mohit Chauhan, Bhuvnesh Mann, Akshay Joshi, Ariyah Agarwal, among others. The show is directed by Saurabh Tewari, and produced by Sumeet Chaudhry and Kewal Sethi’s Parin Multimedia.
